Festivities of the Patron Saints of Pilar De La Horadada

Festivities are currently underway in Pilar de La Horadada, whilst they celebrate their Patron Saints.

The celebrations began on the 28th of September and run right through until the 10th November.

The town offers a multitude of activities over this period, night time entertainment with DJ´s and Concerts, daytime entertainment such as Flamenco Dancing, Football Matches, Horse and Carriages, Hiking, Marching Bands, Childrens Day, Classic Motorbikes and much more.

This week will see the flower offering of the Virgin of Pilar at the church square in Calle Mayor on 11th October at 7.30pm followed by Mass at the parish church on Friday 12th honouring their Saint, late afternoon they hold a procession followed by dancing and music in the church square.

For those wanting a little something for the children Saturday 13th is Children´s Day.  There will be a workshop and activities for children and youngsters in the Municipal Enclosure throughout the day. Here they can have a try at paintball, caricatures and later afternoon there will be a show called “XV Aniversario La Pandilla de Drilo”

Towards the end of the festivities on the 27th  October on the main street, Calle Mayor, there will be a Grand Floats Parade at 8pm, an award ceremony is held on Monday 29th in the Cultural Centre.
