Tomorrow in the parking area adjacent to Zenia Boulevard we will be lucky enough to have an open day and exhibition by the Guardia Civil. “Jornadas de Puertas Abiertas”. This is to celebrate 175 years of Spanish Service.
The officers who serve as part of the Guardia Civil are highly regarded as part of one of Spain’s most prized institutions. They work alongside the Policia National and the Policia Local to provide safety and security throughout the country.
They will be showcasing the equipment and latest technology they use in the field for urban safety and crime prevention.
The open day will give local people the chance to meet the local Alicante police officers first hand. Those men and women who work to keep us safe and secure.
The force will be exhibiting their latest specialist vehicles, which includes a wide variety of patrol cars and their high-performance traffic motorbikes. Visitors will be able to take a look inside the vehicles and officers will be there to explain the role of each vehicle.
